Final artist for electriXmas 2023!

We’re delighted to be able to round of this years lineup with one of Sweden’s foremost female artists. Expect something special when we welcome her to the electriXmas stage!

KARIN PARK has been referred to as the Scandinavian Nico for her persona, but her talents are considerably more. Having performed with such icons as Lana Del Rey and David Bowie among others, she expresses herself not only through music but also through perfumery and fashion as forms of art.
Heavily into synths, hugely inspired by Fad Gadget and a lot of the other Daniel Miller signings for Mute in the early 80s it took a while for KARIN PARK to find her feet. “I love pop music but I always need to dig deeper, evolve and find new territory. I easily move from Throbbing Gristle to Beyonce and back again.”
Now touring on the back of her 2022 album ‘Church Of Imagination’, her first in five years, we sense the influence of Scott Walker, Massive Attack and Nico. But it is Karin’s ability to use different elements to tell her stories that sets her apart.

Fourth artist ready to go!

It’s been a while, but we’re finally able to announce the fourth artist for this years lineup!

Capital X presents a straight-from-the-shoulder eclectic electronic collection for dark dancefloors everywhere, blending inspirations from strobe-laden stage shows with Atari Teenage Riot, Curses, Gary Numan, Sydney Valette and Zanias, and a range of collaborations with Maethelvin (Valerie Collective), Chikinki and Dame Bonnet (Curses live).
Capital X live is Julz CX, a storm of eclectic heavy electronics, weaving barbed vocal hooks and twisting leads against grinding bass and biting drums, her hard-hitting delivery powering through alternative electronica, dance, darkwave, synthwave, breakbeat and techno.

electriXmas 2023 first artist announced!

We’ve been working hard with planning for this years event and the lineup is still being put together, but we have the first artist confirmed!

Sierra

With her infectious bass and sharp beats, SIERRA has been unfolding her strong electro and darkwave signature energy ever since the release of her first EP STRANGE VALLEY in 2017, followed by GONE in 2019, which introduced fans of the synthwave scene to her work, both in France and abroad. In 2022, SIERRA was the opening act for CARPENTER BRUT’s world tour both in Europe and North America and will release her first album A STORY OF ANGER (Virgin records) in September 2023.
